On a few occassions with a fully charged battery the low battery charge indicator has appeared on my D700 and I have lost power. After reinserting the battery power is restored and everything is fine. It's happened about half a dozen times over the last few months. Waited and waited patiently for this Eagle to drop down to the River and grab a Salmon Smolt that were swimming downriver, but I couldn't pass up a photo with its' daily Preening.
