4 days in Vegas is too much for a trip of this nature. Plan being in LV 2 days, 3 at most. I would look into flying into NY and making that the hub for your trips. NY-LV is about 4-5 hours. Ditto for NY - Cancun. Check US airways website as well. Their hub is in Vegas, maybe you can do NY-LV-CUN-NY in one loop. Good luck. Re: Excalibur, MGM or New York New York. 7 years ago. Save. Yes it will be warm enough to use the pools, if you want pool time I highly suggest that you switch to MGM. It's a step above Excalibur and NYNY. The pool area at MGM is one of the best on the strip. MGM also has a slightly better location than Excalibur. You can gain access through the back of the casino floor. I actually found it an easier walk from the door by the sports book and walk around the front of the hotel and bars and take in the atmosphere as it was the hockey I was watching whilst I was there. It’s nice and easy to get to the T-Mobile arena though. Report inappropriate content.
