NASCAR Heat 5 not saving inputs. Recently purchased NASCAR heat 5. Gone to inputs to setup wheel, pedals, shifter etc then "save & exit' but my custom inputs are not saved. It has a bunch of inputs like 8 per steering, pedals etc. I first deleted these then add my own input but soon as I exit options it's like I did nothing.

I'm trying to play with a PXN V1 Race Wheel. After calibrating on my PC I cannot find any player settings that will work. Any movement of the wheel sends me either crashing into the wall or infield. A g29 looks to be a HC with a steering wheel wrapped around it. My logitech MOMO is probably 20 years old and made for pc only. I found the config tab, even set it to all in the steam settings. It sees my left and right paddle as A/B. When I try to reassign it doesn't work. Search for videos on Youtube about Nascar Heat 3. Heat 4 got improves but configuration is same. Any DirectInput wheel should work, but you may have to configure all the controls yourself. The g27 works somewhat i cant use the stick shift i have to use the paddles for now but i think i know how to fix it.
