Currently running a miller bobcat 250 and just recently aquired a miller roughneck 2e circa 1980. I bet you all can guess which ones giving me trouble.I have a miller bluestar 2e. It has ac power at the plugs and it will weld on the power mode, but it does not idle up. When it is switched to weld mode I get a tiny arc, not enough to stick the rod, but when it is manually idled up it will weld. The idle up solenoid is new and works. Wiring is all correct. Miller still makes a "Blue Star" series but not the 2E. The new ones sell for around $1800 or more. You should be able to find a tag somewhere on the unit that will have the full model and serial number on it. Get that info and call Miller at 800-426-4553 and ask them about parts availability.
