So I've just loaded a couple boxes of target loads (#9 shot), and about half the time the charge bar seems to lock up - it drops the powder fine sliding right to left, but then locks up sliding left to right and requires quite a bit of effort, or maybe even a couple tries, to slide right and drop the shot.

Cleaning Old Mec 600 jr. I pulled out the old Mec 600 a couple of days ago. It had been stored at less than adequate conditions for 15 plus years ( in an old covered garage but no door). The loader had quit a bit of light to medium surface rust. I pulled everything apart and took a wire brush and some light emory cloth to it.

I use CB1100-12 wads in the Rems and DRA12 Pink in the AA HS with 18.5 gr. of Clays over Fio 616 primers. The Rems load and crimp great, but the AA HS have the typical bulge that occurs when the stack is too tall.At station 4 the crimp starter is updated and the new one works pretty well, but then so did the old one. The final crimp station is also updated but again, not significantly better than the old version. About the only thing on the new versin 600 Jr. that is nice is the pre crimper, as it changes out from 6 to 8 in only a couple seconds.Converting my MEC 600 Jnr to reload 2 ¾ inch shells and 2 ½ shells without any resetting.Hope you enjoy the video please like and subscribe.Try loosening the nut holding the pin, run it down into a hull, and re tighten while holding it in the down position.
