Ohlins Road and Track vs KW V3. I am considering going with either the Ohlins Road and Track setup or the KW V3. The car is an 02 M3 coupe that will see 15-20 track days and sees light daily driving that is roughly 10 miles a day in total. Basically this is a for-fun car, a third car.
Pro's for Ohlins are that they are quality units. The build quality is right up there as you'd expect, and they work a treat when they are setup. Downsides are that they require a bit more tooling and knowledge to service, parts are exy, and the knowledge base isn't that huge for the home tuner. I will reiterate what everyone says, "Anything you choose will be better than stock".

I’ve had Ohlins professionally installed previously in my 2016 Ultra Limited and it was nothing short of incredible. I got talked into trying Legends and allowing these people to install it. There in lies my mistake. I agree with your assessment on Ohlins vs Legends. As you describe your experience with Legends is exactly the way I describe mine.

In terms of the spring rate, it may have been a bit of a trade off for solo. Wife liked over stock. Progressive springs up front are doing the job nicely.
