I just failed Uworld Self Assessment 2 with a 59% and a score of 192.Then about a 92% correct gives an insane score like ~262 and above. on the other side, 64% gives about a 212. finally one of the most compelling data is that a passing score (~4th percentile) needs 59% correct that which is almost exactly what is stated on the usmle step 1 website, where they say ~60% correct needed to pass.Anyways, I got my score back and it translated to around 205-210. I was fairly happy with that since I haven't actually started any kind of major test prep other than sporadic qbank questions and anki use during each of my modules. No, 70% is a decently safe pass, 60% is cutting it close. Besides doing as many UWorld questions as possible I also recommend first aid. If your issue is content gaps, first aid and anking are great. If your issue is test taking, do Uworld. Also, Pathoma chapters 1-3 are crucial. Technically, low 60s is the passing score.Top.
