I wouldn't say it's "good" but it's worth reading if only to see the Phoenix Force costumes and what the X-Men characters would do with absolute power. New X-Men has the better concepts and peaks to me ( the Cassandra storyline is the best out of the two runs). Astonishing X-Men is more consistent and the easier reread.
