Set your target loot to backpack. I have even once had two exotic backpack dropped in the extraction area. If RNG doesn't roll in your favor, then the Countdown credit can be used to buy Exotic Caches at the Countdown Vendor Station. If you can run General Anderson solo it's a fast exotic farm.
