hmmmm thats wired, mine works (windows 7) Try updating both your drivers and direct X if you havent already. unistall and reinstall, if that doesnt work try running in compatibility mode (go to properties of the .exe) and play around a bit. If you have a joystick or game-controller hooked up to your computer, either disconnect them or disable them. Iirc you want to disable overlay in the EA app. Disable any overlay (discord, ea etc). And it may sound ridiculous but check in-game settings for your screen refresh rate.

If you are using Windows 10, try turning off fullscreen optimalization. Go to the exe loccation, right click on it, go to properities->compatibility->turn off fullscreen optimalization. Works for me. You have to run the game though your intel graphics processor rather than your game card. This PC > Windows (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Star Wars Battlefront II > GameData.
