I've just managed to fully upgrade my Seamoth to maximum depth and about to go exploring as deep as possible. But I haven't yet got around to building a cyclops or prawn. Really in the mood to progress the story and not excited about hunting for all the parts for the other 2 vehicles. Also I've seen how clunky travelling in the cyclops looks.

Like Ottomic said, the less surface area, the less pressure per square pound. The submarine that explored the deepest depth on Earth could only fit 1-2 people.
