Both are fine pistols; it comes down to personal preference. Some people like the bobbed frame of the Dan Wesson, some not so much. Some like the 4 1/4" barrel of the V-bob, some prefer there 1911's to be 5" with a full grip like the Ultimate Carry. Try both and see which feels better in your hand.
