Oct 28, 2020 · There are now several makers that make the mini-shell. It would be nice to know if the mini-shells are functional in the KS7. There is a video out there that indicates the mini-shells will work in the KS7. His KS7 has been modified with the KSG rail and a red dot.

All feed and ejection operations occur in the last 1/2 inch of movement to the rear, and the last 1/2 inch of movement to the front. Everything in between is dead space with nothing going on. The mini-shells work in many but NOT ALL Kel-Tec shotguns. Some will work 100%, some will seem to work well then suddenly cause a stoppage, and some simply won't work with them at all. The ONLY way to know what a specific gun will do with mini-shells is to shoot enough of them that you're satisfied they are reliable in THAT gun.

Jan 28, 2015 · It wouldn't release any shells from the tubular magazine. It went back to Kel-Tec where it received the Gen 2 upgrade. After it was returned, it would feed 2 3/4" shells but not Nobel Sport 2 1/4" mini shells or the shorter Aguila mini shells. They tend to tumble.
