Yes and no. No: Asteroid mining has a bug where some rocks cannot be scanned. Yes: Go mine on Lyria, and don't waste your time in Aaron Halo/others. Lyria has bigger and better rocks. All rocks are scannable there. Search for cluster/chunk of rocks there, a cluster will always be Quantanium rocks.

Im having trouble in my mole getting a ping or a scan to happen. I can get into scan mode or into mining mode but can't seem to get a ping or scan to go even with default keybindings.
