The 30's internals R stock. I did replace the original G 30 recoil rod w/my OEM recoil rod from the G 36. Since I know that recoil rod is virtually new.Gen4 Glocks feature a new grip texture, recoil spring assembly, enlarged and reversible magazine catch and adjustable backstrap. Practically speaking, all the 30s are the same gun, offering the 10+1 capacity of .45 Auto in a smaller but thicker to hold package. Unloaded the 30S weighs 20.28 ounces. I like the grip better than the Glock, it fits my hand better, and I can shoot it better. The 30 does shoot softer than the 27 and also affords you the benefit of a full grip. The 36 isn't bad either. It has slightly more felt recoil than the 30 due to lighter slide and thinner grip. I never noticed musch difference with the 36 slide on my 30 (same as 30s).
