Unless you are a pure sorcerer you shouldnt bother with spells imo. Nah, having access to decently powerful spells despite not focussing on them as a primary source of damage is super useful for adapting to various encounters. I run a STR/DEX/FAITH build right now and damage incantations have proved super useful in the weirdest places.
