I question the parts total cause there’s more than just an injector that needs replacing like the high pressure pipes on these engines are one time use. And the fuel injector return pipe seals should be replaced as well.

Coasted into a parking lot and pulled codes truck has code u18a2 loss of comunication with fuel pump driver control module. The truck is a 2018 gmc 2500 l5p. The truck has a crank no start situation. Well I now have a 2021 L5P and I absolutely love it, especially towing our 37' fifth wheel. Well, I love it all except for the amount of DEF it is using while towing. We recently completed a 2400 mile trip, of which 2000 was towing.Unless you want to travel everywhere at 10 mph, you will need tunes and all the other parts before you delete. First you will need to find someone with a modified ecm. The encryption in the stock ecm is coded in the hardware and will not accept an unauthorized reprogram. Then you will need a tuner and tunes. It can still be done.
The connector is starting to go bad, and it's right now, an intermittent failure. Heat and vibration will kill it sooner than later. Replacement connector kit is available from AcDelco. When I had the oil changed by the gmc dealer (first oil change was free) they used full synthetic oil and a delco filter.
