I was 1cm at 28, 2 cm at my next appointment then from there I don't remember when I hit 3 cm but it was with in 1 to 2 appointments so 34 to 36 weeks, somewhere in there.So I had prodromal labor for nearly 3 weeks this past pregnancy (gave birth about 8 weeks ago), starting at around 36+4. I was having actual contractions as well, and did dilate to 2 cm, but basically continued having on and off contractions without much dilation progress till the real deal.
