I have an Optima V2, Accura V2 and Accura MR. I agree the Optima V2 is the best value. It shoots just as accurate as the Accura rifles. The CVA rifles are not real load picky and will shoot a variety of loads accurately. The Optima trigger is not adjustable but it is a very good trigger and breaks clean and smooth.Feb 21, 2021 · I have an optima v2 with the nitride barrel. First time I used 70 grains [V] of Triple 7 2f with the Thompson Center Maxi Hunters 275 grains. The Gun shot those pretty good. The next time out I tried BH209 with the Hornady 250 grain SST's.

I have a new CVA Optima V2 stainless steel barrel. I currently have it zeroed at 100 yards with 80gr T7 loose powder with 295gr Powerbelt Aerotip. That leaves me 2.5" hight at 50. It's grouping consistently but I'm concerned about my muzzle velocity. Ballistic charts from power belt only go down to 100gr of powder.
