I generally change the oil in the outdoor equipment I use all year in the fall (so the acidic byproducts of combustion don’t remain in the crankcase too long) and again in the spring (in case the crankcase contains any condensation from operating in a cold weather environment).

The RTV has a one gallon oil capacity for approx 24 hp. My little Deere tractor has2 gallons of oil for 55 hp. All of the bigger diesels here take 4-5 gallons. Changing Front Axle Case Oil. Make sure that tractor is on a firm and level surface . Take out right and left drain plugs and oil gauge at the front axel case and drain oil . Put drain plugs back in . Take out right and left breather plugs . Fill up to upper groove on dipstick with new oil.
