Using a drill (chuck the nail to the drill), I took some metal off the head and cut to proper length with a Dremel cutting wheel. I had to file the diameter of the head a tad too.

I just trim the casting flash off with a sharp pocket knife. If the checkering is too sharp, just sand it with 400 or 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper. The P32 doesn't kick much at all, and the trigger is very manageable. I advise learning to shoot the stock gun before you start changing out parts. Mickey.
