2012 Impala Clicking Noise from Glove Box. Last night I opened the door while the car was off, and a loud clicking noise coming from the glove box. From google, I learned that is was most likely an HVAC door actuator. There are 2 actuators behind the glove box. The click was obviously coming from the one toward the middle of the car.

I still have the problem. I physically took the entire light housing and swapped it with the other side and my problem remained the same. I bought the turn signal switch lever from 1A Auto and plan on putting it in this weekend. I believe this will fix the problem, but wouldn't bet the house on it.
