The most likely cause is a faulty start/stop switch. I replace 3-4 of these a week at the dealership. The other is a faulty BCM. There is an update for the BCM that can be performed at the dealership. It may correct the issue without having to replace the BCM. Here is the instructions on how to test the start switch and replace it.
