Yesterday I picked up a G 43 AC 43 with matching serial numbers (3575) and multiple waffenamts on the stock. This is my first WW2 German rifle and from my research the AC code on the receiver should correspond to the 359 waffenamt for all the parts. My stock has a 359 waffenamt stamped on the left side and a 214 stamped on the right.The nose fused high explosive projectile is stamped on the side 4439 over be over lx 41 . The base is stamped 521 waffenampt Rm 4439 . There is a separate large screw in base plug with 2 sunken tightening lugs and it is stamped 4439 waffenampt M I 4 over 42 be 501c .4439 .
