The inherent tone of the Katana Bass 210 kind of reminded me of the baked-in character of a Sansamp set fairly clean. The Boss was cleaner, obviously, but there was an inherent scoop to the sound with an emphasis on a full and punchy, yet somewhat undefined low bass frequency, and an upper treble grind.
The neck is about as svelte as a baseball bat and the 100% genuine ebonized fingerboard is pitiful. The finish flakes off for no apparant reason and the end pin is so poor it feels like the thing is mounted on a swivel. He has been told that to get this thing in decent shape would require $6-700 minimum.Feb 21, 2005 · Ontario,Canada. Sounds like a P bass but bit more focused (exactly like how JMJ described it). The bass came with a good quality padded Fender gig bag and not some cheap thin garbage lol. Totally usable for pro gigging.Dec 28, 2006 · Electrical tape and duct tape work well for bunching them together while blending in with the board; duct tape is far stronger, though. You could use velcro ties, too, along with some velcro strips under the board, to secure them. And zip ties work well, too.

So you you can connect MIDI keyboard or a KM 12 Step type foot controller. You may not even wanna bother with the GK pickup.

It is awesome! Nothing against the Traynor SB110. It did me proud for over a year but the Ampeg has a much fuller sound.
