Is it a 3 1/2 or 4" barrel? A 4" is scarce and commands a double or more value premium. A 3 1/2" gun would be in the $500-600US range. Hi all, doing a little research on a pistol which my wife's uncle is handing down to our son. Its a S&W, 6 shot 22 LR revolver, the right side of the barrel reads "22 LONG RIFLE CTG." I would guess by the serial that the gun does not have a trigger guard screw (front of the trigger guard). S&W has made millions of them (still in production) starting in 1899.
