Nagakiba just gets to cheat so much with its range because even though a lot of ashes of war have distinct animations for the heavier and longer weapons that are typically slower, Nagakiba gets the fast versions while keeping its extreme range. Sword Dance on it is a bird annihilator.

If you're using the Blood scaling type, you can't grease it. You'll have to use Standard scaling. I think if a weapon causes a passive effect you can't put a grease of the same effect on it. I'm running a bleed build right now and it won't let me put blood grease on my Nagakiba.
