I'm thinking probably the 22" or 24" but their seems to be alot more 20" barrels to choose from. I probably won't be taking shots over 150 yards. I'm not a big hunter and haven't owned but a handful of rifles so any suggestions would be appreciated.

But my 3 bolt rifles in 308 weigh 6-7 lbs including optics and mounts. I don't oppose anyone who chooses to hunt with an AR-10 rifle. But in 308 caliber I'll take the lighter, more accurate bolt gun. My AR-15's are in the 6-8lb range. If I can make a 223 round work, that weight is acceptable.
