I took all the small piece’s and put them in a plastic bag and I thought I might as well put the slide (including the spring and barrel) back on the frame in order to keep track of the pieces.You cannot have a 19L with a 17 frame if you want a true 19L (if there is such a thing). Also with buying the 19 and adding the 19L slide and barrel, you can sell the OEM 19 slide and barrel. In the end, everything is OEM except the 19L slide. Chopping a 17/34 leaves you with a chopped 17/34 that'll accept 19 mags. That's not a 19L.With the G17 slide on a 19 or 45 frame you basically are making a G19 long slide. I suppose you could use the same parts with a G34 slide it would just look a bit goofy. The G19 frame seems most practical for a compact and then a long slide with the addition of an adapted G17 slide.
