The tractor does have the cast iron rear diff. The tag slightly different than my 1512 and 1711. Specifically the location (Brownsville vs Cleveland) and the Model number format. Muffler is a used muffler from a John Deere lawn tractor (STX38 if I remember right) with a vertical shaft Kohler Command single cylinder, modified to fit. Galvanized sheet steel muffler box. The mower 44" mower deck had rust on it, the seat was shredded, the paint was faded, and it had the wrong rear tires and mismatched front ones.

The more weight the better, to a point. 50lbs on a wheel is a good starting point. All my opinion of course. On my #2 125 I have one 26lb IH wheel weight per side but also have a full size battery and three 3/4" thick slabs of steel mounted out back. May 3, 2020 · I have a cub cadet model 782 for sale. It has a Kohler 17hp Series II engine with a 44” mowing deck. Always garaged and did not sit out in weather. Still runs and cuts grass. Runs rough because oil getting into carb from crankcase breather valve. Many recently replaced parts including coil, front tire, seat, and battery. Asking $550.
