There are a few other treadmill makers. I use a third party treadmill infront of a 40” tv in my basement. Works great to stream the peloton classes. Don’t think peloton tread is worth it until they bring the tread+ back. You can find treadmills for half the cost that can do those speeds and inclines that will last a decade.

This is very different though. Almost all treadmills have a rear guard to prevent things getting sucked underneath in the back. This is industry standard for safety, and the ones that don't have very thin rollers that don't grab things. The Peloton tread+ doesn't have this, it lacks any/all standard safety features involving the rear.
