Baldurs gate 3 dual wield feat.
Dual Wield feat is more suited to strength martials who took Two Weapon Fighting style so they can have two heavier weapons like longswords. Although the +1 armour is always nice and dual rapiers are good. Sussur dagger is a good off hand weapon for Astarion, he can dual dash to the other end of the battlefield and silence a pesky mage.
Encountered a bug with the Dual Wielder feat not adding the +1 AC. Tried with two light weapons, a light weapon and one not light weapon and too non light weapons. None of these add the +1 AC bonus. You also only benefit from attack bonuses with offhand for your attributes, but not damage. So it does much less damage. With the Dual Wield Feat, you can dual wield any weapon, as long as they are not tagged as heavy.And in Baldur's Gate 2, Jaheira was already a Fighter Druid multiclass. So put two and two together, and here we are. A fighter druid, in Baldur's Gate 3! And it actually works quite well. So for levels, it's really just 5 levels of Fighter for Two Weapon Fighting, Action Surge, a subclass, a feat or asi, and extra attack.

By default you can only dual wield if both weapons have the "light" property.Longswords are not light, so they cannot be dual wielded without the dual wielder feat. Short swords are, so they can be dual wielded by default. Longswords are versatile, and can be used as 1 handed or 2 handed, so that may be why it is listed as 2 handed.
