As far as I know, this furniture would fit the Saiga-100 in 308 just as easily. The wood used is sassafrass and isn't sanded very much. This is a surplus Romanian rpk lower handguard (HG) I used a dremel tool with a sanding drum to enlarge the opening at the receiver end. I tapered the opening to about 3/4 of the way down the HG towards the muzzle end of the HG. Here is a table of the before and after measurements of the wood HG compared to the poly HG.

This seriously isn't a shameless plug, but consider buying a complete matching wood set made for the P-grip config and then selling your complete matching factory set as a whole. They bring in a decent amount of money, making the wood stocked S-308 a very good deal from the factory.
