Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers are a non-profit corporation dedicated to the preservation and display of historic, rural logging related Americana. The pioneer farmers are host to the annual threshing show.Bob loved country, western, Bluegrass and Gospel music, and for nearly 70 years of his life, did a lot of singing and guitar playing at church and community events, and at the Pioneer Farmers and other threshing/old-time shows. In 2002, he helped to organize the Lake Itasca Pioneers Band and enjoyed being a part of their music shows.Chilling out on top of a load of ice, Elias (front) and Brant Cox of Barnesville are grandsons of Dick Cox of Park Rapids.
