I want to purchase the GT4 RS and I'm located in British Columbia. I've spoken with sales managers from two different locations in Vancouver and both have told me they have already allocated these to existing Porsche owners who will be selling back their existing cars to the dealership.For reference, most dealers are charging 10k-15k ADM for GTS 4.0, Spyder, and GT4 allocations. I backed out of my GT4 allocation at a dealer in LA, and they sold my spot to someone same day at 15k ADM. 5k ADM for T is not surprising. I was originally on a mission to buy a used Cayman (2011 or newer). However I just learned about this amazing GT4. I work at a company that is a large vendor for Porsche and will be able to order whatever I want. I have read there's a big waiting list. However the jump from a $35k used Cayman...I can't recall seeing a GT4 without sport chromo and some relatively basic options like dual climate control, LED headlights, auto dimming mirrors, etc. But to each their own, as they say. My previous dealer had a 981 GT4 with NO options whatsoever, but it was ordered by someone who intended to make it into a full time track car.Anyone else seeing or hearing anything official or via reliable sources that there are no more GT4 or Spyder allocations moving forward? I had planned on asking if it was a good deal but it seems like I was very fortunate and should be thankful based on some of these posts.
